Fix the wording

COI-LT-0002 Correcting, back by 3:40 p.m.

The Vernon warehouse’s property manager read the first certificate and asked for one more name at 2:40 p.m. Here’s what changes, and what happens now.

What changes

One line changes. Everything else on the certificate, primary and non-contributory, waiver of subrogation, the scheduled endorsement, stays exactly as it was.

What went out at 9:12 a.m.

The owner, the property-management company

What goes out by 3:40 p.m.

The owner, the property-management company, and the management company’s parent entity

Additional insured means the certificate covers them too, for what happens on your production. The parent entity is the one name that was missing.

When it goes out

  • Issued Sep 3, 9:12 a.m.
  • The property manager’s reply 2:40 p.m., asking for the parent entity too
  • The corrected certificate Going out by 3:40 p.m., within the hour

The fee, and whose mistake this is

Mula read this wording from the Vernon warehouse’s own agreement and missed a name, so that one’s on Mula. It costs you nothing more to fix.

The step already counted as done, and it still does. Covered stays nine of twelve, same as it did this morning.
