What the city asks for
Its certificate is not filed yet. When Mula files, it carries the wording the city’s own form requires, nothing swapped in from a standard package.
- An admitted carrierThe insurer has to be licensed to write policies in this state. Yours is.
- Scheduled wording, not blanketThe city has to be named on your certificate by name, not folded into a general list.
- $1,000,000 each occurrence, $2,000,000 aggregateThe most it pays on one claim, and the most it pays across every claim in the policy year.

Mula enters the insurance approval and files the application with the city. You confirm the days. Nobody at Mula can make the city move faster.
If the city sends the filing back
The city sent the filing back.
Sent backThe city’s requirement, whether or not it is reasonable. Say it came back because the certificate carried blanket wording instead of scheduled, the one difference its form does not allow.
Mula refiles with the fix the same day the city responds, but the three business days start over from the refiling, not from Tuesday. Bounced Wednesday and refiled that afternoon, the new count runs Thursday, Friday, and Monday the 14th, since the weekend does not count toward it. The permit lands the same morning your first truck does, not three days ahead of it.
